COPMA 1400: The Heavy End of the Range with a 9+6 Jib and WinchWhen the reach and the load both go up, the COPMA 1400 is the answer. Seen here working in Greece with Andreas Seretis, this is the heavy end of the COPMA range, configured with a nine plus six extension jib and a winch for the lifts that happen far from the truck. The geometry is what makes it work. A long main boom, a second boom, and telescopic extensions fold and reach the way a working arm does, so the operator can carry a heavy load out over an obstacle and place it precisely at distance. Add the jib sections and the reach extends again; add the winch and the same crane handles the lifts that need a line rather than a rigid tip. Held steady at full extension and controlled from a radio remote, the 1400 is built for heavy construction, infrastructure, and the high-reach work that defines the top of the range. Like every COPMA, it is engineered and built in Italy by CPS Group, with the load control and safety detailing a lift this size demands.
